WHAT
Produced by Palo Duro Presents, LLC, the Chattahippie Music Festival is a multi-day music experience featuring top regional and national performers in Americana, blues, country, rock, roots, folk & bluegrass genres.
WHEN
Thursday September 18, 2008: gates open at 5pm
Friday September 19, 2008: gates open at 3pm
Saturday September 20, 2008: gates open at 10am
Sunday September 21, 2008: gates open at 8am
WHERE
The festival will be held on a 50+ acre riverfront venue known as Camp Columbus, approximately 20 minutes from downtown Chattanooga.
MUSIC
Chattahippie is a music discovery festival targeting the passionate music lovers who prefer to explore genres, styles and artists outside of the mainstream. New performers will be announced weekly on our website, www.chattahippie.com, and will include regional and national acts including Pure Prairie League (Nashville), Two Tons of Steel (San Antonio), Gary Nicholson (Garland/Nashville), Buzz Cason (Nashville), Dallas Wayne (Austin), Walt Wilkins & The Mystiqueros (Austin), Miles from Nowhere (Paris), Darryl Lee Rush (Dallas), Trent Summar & The New Row Mob (Nashville), Eleven Hundred Springs (Dallas), Whitey Johnson (Memphis), Michael Hearne (Taos), Michael Johnathon (Lexington), Tressie Seegers (Tyler), Lou Wamp (Chattanooga), Doug & Telisha Williams (Martinsville, VA), and many others.
TICKETS
 3-day pass: $30
 4-day pass: $50 (limited to 500 total)
 4-day VIP: $250 (extremely limited) Kids under the age of 12 are admitted free with paid adult ticket; single-day tickets may be issued, depending on advance sales; a maximum of 15,000 tickets will be sold. Tickets can be purchased online at www.chattahippie.com, and at select retailers.
ATTENDANCE
We anticipate a daily attendance of 5,000-10,000 music lovers, with a maximum of 15,000 allowed daily attendance for the first year.
CAMPING
Onsite camping will be allowed for artists, VIPs and a limited number from the general public; additional camping grounds are nearby at Chester Frost State Park, and ample area lodging/hotels are available.
STAGES
Two stages will provide constant entertainment for the festival experience; naming rights/sponsorships are available.
HIPPIE VILLAGE
Merchandise, art displays, and food sales will be available during the operating hours of the event. Water, soft drinks and beer sales will be provided by the festival and it’s organizers. Opportunities for onsite food sales are available to licensed commercial providers.
STRATEGIC PARTNERS
The festival is working with a variety of organizations to making this event a national success. Additional announcements are expected soon. The Woodsongs Old-Time Radio Hour, a syndicated radio program on 600+ NPR stations, is a confirmed media partner for Sunday/Folk & Bluegrass day. www.woodsongs.com
